LAMESA SWITCH to FARADAY SWITCH 345kV TRANSMISSION LINE PROJECT

To continue to provide safe and reliable electric service in this area, Wind Energy Transmission Texas LLC(WETT) and Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC (Oncor) are proposing to construct a double-circuit 345 kV transmission line in portions of Dawson and Borden counties, with both circuits operational, between Oncor’s existing Lamesa Switch and WETT’s existing Faraday Switch. Oncor’s Lamesa Switch is located approximately 1.2 miles northwest of the intersection of State Highway 349 and United States (US) Highway 87in Dawson County, Texas. WETT’s Faraday Switch is located on the eastside of Willow Valley Road approximately1.2 miles north-northeast of where it crosses the Colorado River, and 8.8 miles south of its intersection with US Highway 180 in Gail, in Borden County, Texas. The Project is currently planned for completion in Spring 2029.The purpose of this public participation meeting is to present information about the Project, receive input and comments, and answer questions about the Project.

Representatives from WETT, Oncor and Burns & McDonnell the routing consulting firm, were available to answer questions and discuss specific aspects of the project at two open house events.
